SLí invites you for a climate positive evening. Climate anxiety is a real thing and thinking about the climate crisis can be tough. We want to give people climate positive news.

This World Oceans Day, June 8th, SLí and Garter Lane are bringing you 2040. This award winning film is fun, uplifting and focuses on the positive changes we can make to ensure a bright future.

Award-winning director Damon Gameau (That Sugar Film) embarks on a journey to explore what the future could look like by the year 2040 by embracing solutions already available to us. Structured as a visual letter, 2040 blends traditional documentary with dramatised sequences and high-end visual effects to create a vision of the world for future generations.

Please join us in Garter Lane Arts Centre, Wednesday June 8th at 7pm. Tickets are free but must be booked in advance at garterlane.ie. More information can be found at sliwaterford.ie or follow us on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter @WaterfordSli.
